​"I’ve been a mentor for just over a year now and to be honest, it wasn’t what I expected at all. 

 

AJA are a small but incredibly dedicated and committed charity and it really is a pleasure to work with them. 

 

Before I started on my mentoring journey, the team at AJA gave me lots of training and support. The monthly group supervision is a great idea that ensure as mentors we get all the regular support we need, as well as the opportunity to share ideas. 

 

I’ve found being a mentor one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. There have been ups and downs along the way. But with AJA’s support it’s something I would love to continue to do. I’m delighted to be nominated as mentor of the month."
